A suburb in the metropolitan borough of Salford, Broughton is situated south of Prestwich and historically was a part of Lancashire. The area has experienced regeneration and development over the last few years and is a great place to live, within commuting distance of Manchester city centre.

Transport

Broughton is serviced by excellent public transport links and easy access to motorway networks. Bury New Road runs straight through Broughton, which is a main road leading straight into Manchester City Centre. 

Broughton is perfectly located for commuters and a journey into the centre of Manchester should be no more than a 25 minute bus ride, or 10 minute car journey.

Amenities

Broughton is only a 10 minute drive from Manchester Fort Shopping Park, which provides great shopping and dining opportunities with free parking. 

A variety of supermarkets, including ASDA and Lidl, are all located within the Broughton area.

Broughton is only a 10 minute drive or 25 minute bus ride from Manchester city centre where the well-stocked Arndale centre and bustling market street are located.

Culture

The suburb of Broughton and its nearby areas are home to a diverse community and boast more than 40 synagogues and churches of various religions. There is a well-regarded range of schools including several independent Jewish schools.
